Ceramic Inlays and Onlays

In cases where the fillings are very large or when one or more cusps have to be rebuilt, inlays or onlays are indicated.

Pressed ceramic restoration are made in a dental laboratory and then cemented on the tooth.

Pressed ceramics have superior mechanical properties compared to fillings and allow the realization of restorations of considerable size, with a better control of the proximal and occlusal contact points.
